JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security (the minister), Tejo Edhy Purdijatno, said that Australia provides strong pressure to Indonesia which will immediately execute the death of two of its citizens are popularly called Bali Nine.
"Australia uses a variety of ways to free two of its citizens, including the prize for tsunami relief to prohibit its citizens vacation in Indonesia," said Minister in the campus of the University of Gadjah Mada, Monday, March 9, 2015.
According to the Minister, if calculated economically, Australian exports is greater than Indonesia, so no problem for Indonesia if Australia to stop trade with Indonesia. "Precisely Australia will get pressure from the Indonesian people for a large market share for Australia," he said.
If Australia stop cattle exports to Indonesia, certainly will face pressure from within the country. Indonesia is a major market for Australian beef.
On that occasion, the Minister also reminded Indonesia has been widely deter illegal immigrants from other countries who are going to Australia. If Canberra acting, Jakarta will certainly remove immigrants who are going to Australia it.
"That is now in Indonesia alone there are over 10,000 people," he said. If they are removed and left for Australia, certainly would like a human tsunami.
