JAKARTA, [IFN] --- Director General Manufacturing Industry Base of the Ministry of Industry, Harjanto has coordinated with a number of economic ministers on the competitiveness of national industry and the price of gas.
"The government will hold a simulation and analysis of both macro and micro-related demand for lower gas prices nationwide industry. Therefore, there must be a clear and realistic basis for taking the policy, "he said at a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 31.

In 2013, of the needs of 1,200 MMscfd gas supply obtained by the manufacturing industry only about 700 MMSCFD. In fact, for the industrial area of Medan (KIM), from 235 MMSCFD needs, needs that can be met not by half.
