In 2014, consumption of premium reached 29.63 million kiloliters or 81,000 kiloliters per day and is now 74,000 kiloliters per day.
Meanwhile, diesel down from 16.24 million kiloliters or 44 thousand kiloliters per day to 37 thousand kiloliters per day.
Iskandar also said the decline in consumption of premium also because some consumers switch to pertamax. "Since the price premium and pertamax not differ much, pertamax consumption increases," he said.
According to him, sales increased from the previous pertamax approximately 2,000 kiloliters to 7,000 kiloliters per day. Currently, the premium sold at Rp6.900 per liter and pertamax Rp8,600 per liter.
Iskandar also added that in the past two years, growth is already slowing down fuel consumption.
"Premium previously grew to nine percent, dropped to three percent," he said.
