"The lack of both positive and negative sentiment makes JCI rate on hold so that the entry is in the negative area, but with a limited downturn," said Asjaya Indosurya Securities analyst, William Suryawijaya on Monday.

He added that the appreciation of the rupiah against the US dollar at the beginning of this week (Monday, 23/7) can also be a positive indicator for the future IDX index rate.
