JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE) has certified Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) to five economic operators in Indonesia. With the AEO certificate, the fifth of the economic operators are entitled to special customs treatment facilities and in the process of customs, such as the acceleration of the export process, ease of manner of payment of customs and other conveniences.
With this addition the AEO certificate, the company can enjoy the ease of export and import activities of inter-company in another country. Application of AEO itself is considered to encourage the export activities by many companies in Indonesia.
"With this facility, then export the more easier, and we expect also corporations in Indonesia increasingly keen to export, and not just selling products in the country," said Finance Minister Bambang PS Brodjonegoro, as quoted from the pages of the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, March 18.
Implementation AEO customs system in Indonesia itself is expected to be one of the solutions to the problems in the field of customs that occur during this time, as the problem dwelling time.
