JAKARTA - The government will not change the basic assumption that the macro has been defined in the State Budget Amendment (APBN-P) 2015. The basic assumption is not changed even though the US dollar strengthened against the rupiah so almost translucent 13,200 per dollar.
"The assumption has been determined in the State Budget Act. It does not get changed, and assuming it is necessary to make the posture," said Bambang Brodjonegoro, the Minister of Finance in Jakarta, Wednesday (3/11/2015).
Bambang added that the weakening rupiah this time also will not add bulk to the country's financial deficit. That's because the government has reduced subsidies in some sectors such as fuel oil (BBM).
In addition, said Bambang, corporate debt maturing also assessed not to be more dangerous position dollars. For domestic corporate debt is still in safe condition, and some have the ability to pay.
"Yes of course we have to see, too, that there are corporate debt portion of debt is actually safe and has been in the hedge, and anyone has the ability to pay the debt," he said.
