Inflation March Fueled Fuel: BI

JAKARTA -- Bank Indonesia (BI) estimates, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the month of March 2015 will have inflation. This differs from the CPI in January and February 2015 deflation respectively 0.24% and 0.36%.

"It seems not deflation, in March 2015 is the possibility of inflation, but small," said Executive Director of the Economic and Monetary Policy of Bank Indonesia, Juda Agung, in Jakarta, Friday, March 20, 2015.

According to him, the inflation in the month of March 2015 was caused by an increase in the price of fuel oil (BBM) of Premium Rp200 per liter to Rp6.800 per liter from Rp6.600 per liter. Where this policy has been in force since the start of the month March 2015.

"In addition, the price of rice so far we are still monitoring inflation and no increase in fuel prices also yesterday's premium," said Judah.

Previously Director of Research Core Indonesia, Mohammad Faisal has said, that the impact of price increases on inflation premium is not too significant. Inflation in March 2015 under the 0.4%
