Italy completed investigate Apple avoid taxes


   


The Italian government declared already completed an investigation into allegations of tax evasion allegedly committed Apple.

Italian authorities stated, Apple does not pay their taxes or owe to the government up to 1 billion US dollars, or around Rp 12.9 trillion.

According to Italian law, law enforcement in Italy can bring tax evasion case to court.

Italian authorities have been conducting investigations in the period 2008 to 2013.

On this, Apple said they have met the appropriate payment rule. Apple even claims to be one of the biggest tax payers in the world.

"The allegations that our employees is entirely baseless and we believe this process will show the same conclusion," Apple said in a statement quoted by Reuters.
