Microsoft bought LiveLoop

NEW YORK, [IFN]  - Microsoft said it has bought a mobile office application LiveLoop, which allows users to collaborate with PowerPoint presentations simultaneously.

This acquisition is the latest move by Microsoft, after recently buying other mobile applications for professional use.

"We are pleased to welcome the talented team of LiveLoop to help build a great collaboration across the Office applications, part of our strategy and vision in finding the back of productivity," Microsoft said as reported by AFP.

The IT giant did not disclose the price at San Francisco startup was bought.

LiveLoop allows users to share PowerPoint presentations --salah a Microsoft program Office-- and PDF online to other users who can access and synchronize content from a variety of mobile devices.

"You can observe and presentations from any device, including smart phones, so that when you become a participant or presenter, you can hold a meeting on the beach once," wrote LiveLoop on its website.

The California startup said it will no longer accept new users and will close on April 24 outlets with advises users to backup data before outlets closed.

Microsoft bought last February calendar application Sunrise after acquiring Acompli email application on December 2014.
