HAINAN, [IFN] --- President Joko Widodo carries a special mission to the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), which opened March 28, 2015 in the conference hall on the east coast of Hainan Island, China.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) arrived at the meeting place that is between Haikou and Sanya was around 09.45 local time, accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo who wore a maroon dress blazer combined length matching color motif.
Former Governor of Jakarta was entering the meeting room together with Chinese President Xi Jinping and got a seat next to President Xi, who was the main speaker at the forum.
President Jokowi, who became the fifth speaker at the forum, in his speech said that as China, Indonesia wants to quickly build infrastructure.
"Indonesia wants to build quickly, we want to invest, we want to build infrastructure quickly," he said.
While President Xi said that Asia is now the most dynamic regions and developing strategic terrace.
"In Asia mutually beneficial cooperation has been done in many ways, including in disaster relief. Asia has always cooperated with the spirit of togetherness," he said.
He realized that poverty is a problem shared is now in Asia.
Officials who attended the meeting also gave their last respects to the former Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Kuan Yeuw and Germanwings plane crash victims in the Alps, France.
