President jOKOWI arrived in Hainan to attend the Boao Forum

HAINAN  (IFN) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his entourage arrived in Hainan Province to attend the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) after takeoff from Beijing International Capital Airport, Beijing.

President Jokowi left Beijing on Friday, at around 15:55 pm local time after closing his visit to attend the Economic Cooperation between Indonesia and China in the Great Hall of the People.

The President then heads using the presidential plane and flew for about 3 hours and 48 minutes later landed in Hainan as the only island and smallest province in China.

President landed in Hainan Sanya Phoenix Airport around 19:36 pm local time.

Upon arrival to the temperature in the province has a population of 8.9 million that ranges from 26 degrees Celsius and the President welcomed the Governor of Hainan Luo Baoming and related officials.

Jokowi scheduled to attend BFA held in Boao town that lies between Haikou and Sanya in Hainan Island's east coast.

BFA is an international non-governmental organizations and non-profit annually organizes conferences to bring the leaders of the PRC, the leaders of foreign countries, top businessmen from the Asia Pacific region.

BFA was inaugurated on February 27, 2001 in Boao of Hainan Province where the headquarters BFA placed.

The forum is dedicated to promoting the potential of Asian countries in an effort to work together to promote economic development through regional economic integration.

In 2015, a meeting will be opened by the Chinese President Xi Jinping on March 28, 2015 with the theme "Asias New Future: Towards a Community of Common Destiny".

More than 10 heads of state / government invited as guest of honor, including the President, the President of Austria, Prime Minister of Malaysia, Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister of Singapore, Prime Minister of Qatar, and the Prime Minister of Hungary.
