JAKARTA, IFN - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the citizen back Evacuation Team managed to evacuate 71 Indonesian citizen (citizen) out of Yemen to immediately return to the country.
"Today (Wednesday, 04/08) will return 71 citizen of Yemen in the two groups," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Arrmanatha Nasir on Wednesday.
According to him, the first fleet of 11 citizen, who had been evacuated from the area of Aden and removed through Djibouti, was on his way back to Indonesia using aircraft with flight number QR 954 and will arrive at Soekarno-Hatta Airport at 22:05 pm.
"Meanwhile, in the second fleet of 60 citizen rest that comes out via (via) Jiza last week will return home to Indonesia via Salalah," said Arrmanatha.
Sixtieth Indonesians were returned to Indonesia using Emirates plane with flight number EK 358 and will arrive in the country at 22:30 pm.
Furthermore, Arrmanatha mention there is still one group consisting of 47 people trying to get out of Yemen through Tareem towards Salalah. The delegation was composed of 43 Indonesians, two Britons and two Americans.
In addition, he said, are now registered about 300 citizens in Tareem who are willing to be evacuated from Yemen.
"Then, today there are about 200 citizens who are willing to be evacuated from Al Mukalla," the Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
Previously, citizen evacuation Acceleration Team made it into town Tareem through Yemen-Oman border. The evacuation team has coordinated with the citizen who is in Tareem, Al Mukalla and other cities in the Hadhramaut region to prepare for evacuation.
Volunteer Team Acceleration Evacuation led by Indonesian Students Association (PPI) in Hadhramaut also been established.
Integrated team evacuation of citizens it also has to communicate with various parties, including the prominent religious leaders, university leaders and boarding schools, to help convince citizens who exist in the Hadhramaut region to be willing to be evacuated.
Evacuation team sent the Government of Indonesia consists of 43 personnel, including 14 Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 21 Air Force, Police seven, and three people from the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).
The team is constantly looking for ways to be able to evacuate all citizens in Yemen quickly, safely and efficiently.
