JAKAT\RTA, IFN --- Minister of Interior Tjahjo Kumolo said it was counting which areas are experiencing difficulties in budgeting election funds simultaneously.
"The issue is the existence of local funding difficulties for the implementation of simultaneous election in 2015, being inventoried by the Directorate General of Regional Autonomy and Local Finance," said Interior Minister on Monday.
The same was done with the Election Commission mapped areas where the government has not budgeted election.
Commissioner Commission Rizkiyansyah Ferry Kurnia said until now it has not been able to confirm the exact number of areas experiencing budgetary constraints in the elections.
Ferry said that by knowing the number of areas that have not been budgeted election, it can be immediately sought a solution so that the election of governors, regents and mayors in the region still happen.
"We're doing mapping (mapping, ed.), And the day after tomorrow (Wednesday, 04/08) we will meet with the relevant ministries to discuss this election budget. Whichever not support the budget," said Ferry.
He also requested that the Ministry of Internal Affairs to prepare specific policies to deal with areas that can not be allocated the elections due to the changes clause of perppu elections to Law No. 8 of 2015 concerning the election of Governor, the Regent and the Mayor.
In the implementation of the simultaneous election in 2015, the number of areas that are scheduled participate gubernatorial elections, regents and mayors, local 272.
A total of 201 regions of whom had budgeted election because of term regional head ends throughout 2015, so that the budget is prepared.
However, 68 other areas expected to still not all finished with budgeting problems election, because the regional head office expires January to June 2016. So they had been scheduled to follow the election outright second wave.
