Motorola has been pushing forward the release of the new Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Moto X 2014 version. This is despite the fact that the Moto X 2013 model has already started to receive the updates for this new Android OS.

However, now that the company has finished rolling out the new Android 5.1 Lollipop update for Google Nexus 6 users, it seems the stage is all set for the launch of this very same operating system on the Motorola Moto X 2014 model.
This news comes after Motorola released a post on its support page detailing the change log for the new Android 5.1 Lollipop update. According to this post, the Android 5.1 update seems to be equipped with quite a number of features that are very significant to the Moto X 2nd Generation with respect to control of notifications and so on.

The latest Android 5.1 Lollipop update for Motorola Moto X 2014 model comes with a new feature, where you will be able to block notifications until the next alarm triggers. In this way, you can easily manage your notifications in a way that is more efficient. Furthermore, the latest Android 5.1 update comes with improvements to the settings menu and a fix to the noise that comes from the low-light shots of the camera. Furthermore, there is improved responsiveness of the viewfinder when using the front snapper, among many other fixes to bugs.
