JAKARTA, [IFN] --- Working Committee of Safety, Security and Quality of Flight Commission V DPR (Indonesia Parliament), will review the Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, Makassar, South Sulawesi.
Vice Chairman of Commission V of the House Michael Wattimena (Democratic Party) led MPs reviewing the condition of the airport.
Working committee members who participated reviewing is Rendhy Lamadjido (Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle), Agatie Sulie Mahyudin (Golkar Party), Novita Wijayanti (Fraction Gerindra), Umar Arsal (Democratic Party), Andi Typhoon Tiro (National Mandate Party) and Mohammad Toha (National Awakening Party).
During the working visit, Commission V Working Committee plans to meet with officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Airport Authority, PT Angkasa Pura I, Institute of Air Navigation Services Operator Indonesia (LPPNPI), Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) and the National Search and Rescue Agency.
"We will carry out exposure management systems, SOPs and Evaluation in the context of safety, security and quality of the flight," said Michael Wattimena on Wednesday.
Commission V Working Committee will also review the airport service facilities like Health Center and the airport passenger terminal.
"What we found later in the field, will be the input for the Working Committee of Safety, Security and Quality of Flight Commission V of the House of Representatives," he said.
