JAKARTA, IFN --- President Joko Widodo expect a meeting with the House leadership that will take place Monday, April 6, will produce positive things related to cooperation between the government and parliament.
Secretary of State Pratikno in a text message to reporters here on Sunday night said the president was speaking in a second meeting in the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Sunday afternoon after the president arrived from Solo.
"After Maghrib, before I called the President and he asked if the meeting with the leadership of the House of Representatives at Parliament House tomorrow be implemented," said Secretary of State.
Pratikno said the meeting will be conducted in accordance with the plans and the Head of State glad to hear it.
"Then the President expressed his enthusiasm for bersilaturahim with House leaders that the government synergy with the House of continuous improvement and business together can be completed," said State Secretary quoted President.
The minister added, including those referred to the President is speaking of Police chief candidate.
"Yes, very soon we will have a definitive Police chief," said State Secretary quoted the Head of State.
Joko Widodo President is scheduled to hold a consultation meeting and bersilaturahim with House leaders on Monday.
