MEDAN, IFN --- Mount Sinabung in Karo, North Sumatra province, is still volatile with continued out hot clouds and continuous tremors.
In a short message received Between in Medan on Friday, Head of Data Information and Public Relations of National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said, the activity of Mount Sinabung was recorded based on the observation post reports that alerted the Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG).

On Thursday (2/4), the emergence of 118 earthquakes recorded avalanches with maximum amplitude 5-113 mm and 22 times the heat clouds glide avalanches that as far as 4 km to the south, and gave rise to the volcanic ash as high as 2 km.
On Thursday night until around 21:09 pm, occurred 18 times glowing clouds of hot avalanches. However, it can not be seen visually as fog and winds east-southeast.
The turbulence experienced by Sinabung the cause of several villages nearby communities such as the Village Sigarang-Garang, Kutagunggung village, and the village Sukanalu experiencing panic so get ready for evacuation.
Team of Disaster Management Task Force continued to patrol and monitoring in the field in order to avoid things that are not desirable.
BNPB urged people to remain vigilant, including tourists, so as not to climb and carry out activities within a radius of 3 km from Mount Sinabung.
