BOYOLALI -- The number of climbers to the summit of Mount Merapi through Plalangan Hamlet, Village Lencoh, Boyolali, Central Java, the Easter holiday period reached a thousand people.
"The number of climbers to the summit of Mount Merapi through Boyolali, the Easter holiday period since Friday (4/3) through Sunday (4/5) increased to 1,000 people," said the SAR team members Barameru Lencoh Boyolali, Samsuri, in Boyolali on Monday.
The climbers come from various regions in Indonesia, among others, Central Kalimantan, South Sumatra, Sulawesi Surabaya, Bandung, Jakarta, Banten, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Solo.
In fact, there are some climbers rating abroad such as Japan, and France to see the beautiful scenery on top of Merapi pegunung.
"The number of climbers on this holiday, increased three-fold compared to the previous week's average of about 300 people," said Samsuri which is also a tourist levy officer Merapi ascent of Mount Merapi National Park Authority (BTNGM) in Hamlet Plalangan Boyolali.
